Following Jesus isn't a spectator sport! πŸ‘‡

Someone needs the encouragement you can give. Someone needs the smile at the door, the prayer, the conversation, or the willingness to show up and help.

The Kingdom moves forward when ordinary people make themselves available to God. 🀲

When lack shows up, most of us want to run.

We don't understand the season. We don't understand the delay. We don't understand why things aren't happening the way we thought they would. So we panic, we strive, or we flee.

But faith doesn't run at the first sign of lack.

Jesus, facing the greatest trial of His life, prayed, "Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done."

That's the posture of a believer.

There are seasons where God allows us to feel the gap between where we are and where we're believing Him to take us. Not to punish us, but to teach us dependence. To teach us trust. To remind us that our source has never been our circumstances, it's always been Him.

Don't flee when you encounter lack.

Mind the gap.

Pay attention to what God is teaching you in the waiting. Pay attention to how He's shaping your character, strengthening your faith, and drawing you closer to Him.

Because sometimes the greatest growth doesn't happen in abundance. It happens in the space where we learn to trust God when we don't have all the answers.

Stay planted.
Stay faithful.
Stay surrendered.

And keep saying, "Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done." πŸ™β€οΈ

One of the hardest lessons to learn is how to cheer for someone else's blessing while you're still waiting on your own.

When God opens a door for someone else, promotes someone else, blesses someone else, or answers their prayer before yours, what's your response?

Jealousy says, "Why them?"
Faith says, "If God did it for them, He can do it for me too."

Know how to cheer your peer.

Celebrate the win. Applaud the promotion. Encourage the person succeeding around you. Don't let jealousy rob you of the joy of seeing God move in someone else's life.

The truth is, jealousy will make you bitter, but honor will position your heart for what God wants to do in your life.

You can't genuinely ask God to bless you while secretly resenting the people He's already blessing.

So celebrate others. Encourage others. Pray for others.

Your turn doesn't have to come at the expense of someone else's.

God's supply is not limited, and His plans for your life aren't threatened by someone else's success. β€οΈπŸ™Œ

Still thinking about Worship Night. πŸ™Œβ›ͺ

What a sweet time together as a church family. We worshiped, prayed, and made room to focus on Jesus.

So thankful for moments like these and for a church family that loves to worship. ❀️

πŸ“ΊπŸ“± What you consistently feed will actually eventually determine what you crave...

If most of your time is spent consuming fear, outrage, comparison, entertainment, or endless distractions, it should not surprise you when your appetite for the things of God starts to fade!

Jesus was not talking about a one-time decision when He said to hunger and thirst for righteousness. He was describing a daily pursuit. Just like your body needs food every day, your spirit needs regular time in God's Word, prayer, worship, and His presence. πŸ“–πŸ™Œ

πŸ’‘ Consider: What have you been feeding on?

Which giants are you battling? Are you fighting from your own strength? πŸ’ͺ

We can be guilty of trying to do things outside of our power, hoping to control the moving pieces of our situations and, ultimately, the outcomes. But God doesn't want us to strive to do things outside of what He calls us to do. He wants us to bring the rest to Him.

If you find some things are out of your hands this week, trust that He has them in His! πŸ™

PSA: Following Jesus should not be based on how we feel today. If that were the standard, most of us would quit every time life got hard.

God is worthy of our worship because of who He is, not because of how we feel!

πŸ™Œ He is faithful, even when we are inconsistent.

πŸ’™ He is kind, even when we have wandered far from Him.

πŸ‘‘ He is still King, whether life is going the way we hoped or not.

✝️ He loved us first and proved it at the cross.

πŸ”₯ He continues to pursue us, forgive us, and transform us because His love is not dependent on our performance.

There are days when worship feels natural and days when it feels costly. On both kinds of days, God is still worthy. Remembering who He is has a way of putting everything else back in its proper place.

Join us tomorrow to lift His name together!
