The Shawnee RC&D has hired Raymond Bieri as the new Executive Director! Ray received his bachelor's degree in forestry and is a graduate student in the human dimensions of forestry at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. He has also spent much of his time outside of school working in environmental education and conservation. Ray is looking forward to working with the Shawnee RC&D and furthering our conservation and development efforts for the 16-county region that the organization covers in Southern Illinois.
