IWU Tapestry

IWU Tapestry celebrate culture. build the Kingdom. IWU Tapestry is a collection of student groups (called threads) each dedicated to celebrating a particular culture.

Active threads include Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, European/White, African-American/Pan-African, Middle Eastern, and Homeschoolers (and we would love to add more!). You can join a thread in order to participate in monthly get-togethers with other students passionate about or interested in the culture, or you can come to our all-campus events. Either way, get involved in Tapestry to discover how your cultural identity is part of who God has called you to be in his Kingdom.

This is what we get to do! As we celebrate, introduce, and unite people, we bring peace. The peace that world is looking for is really the Kingdom of God. it's praying, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be Done on earth as it is in Heaven." I am so proud and grateful for each of you who worked and prayed to bring God's Kingdom to our campus this year!

A New Generation of Peace
