Marion Lions Club hosted it's 55th Annual Christmas Party yesterday. Lion Herman Graves founded this tradition. We hosted 72 youth and their Teachers to lunch and then Santa presented gifts to each child. We are thankful to Heartland Christian Church, Fazoli's, Kroger and Pepsi Mid America for their continued support.

On October 10th Marion Lions Club sorted and donated 7 boxes of eye glasses, 16 hearing aides, 8 ink cartridges and 10 cell phones to Lions of Illinois Foundation. We thank our many local businesses that host a collection box and our volunteers who collect, sort and box.

Marion Lions Club donated to several local organizations yesterday. We are honored to be able to partner with Disabled American Veterans of Williamson County, Marion Ministerial Alliance, Williamson County Education Services, The Promise Mission, The Lighthouse Shelter and Zion United Church of Christ Shine Lunch Program.
