What an amazing group of young people!
(Yes, I may be related to one of them 😉)

The 10 Marion City Schools students pictured here deserve to be celebrated.

Tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day, they will spend their Saturday representing MCS at two outstanding events: the OMEA District 2 Middle School Honor Band Festival in Tiffin, Ohio and the Ohio Wesleyan University Middle School Honor Band Festival in Delaware, Ohio. Pretty special way to spend the day.

With only a few short hours of rehearsal, they will come together with hundreds of students from across Ohio to prepare and perform impressive concerts.

When you love something, you really cannot get enough. These young musicians are choosing to spend their holiday doing what they are passionate about, and that kind of dedication speaks volumes. Their energy is contagious, and their commitment makes our program proud.

A sincere thank you to the parents and guardians who are logging the miles and making these opportunities possible.

Bravo, everyone. Keep the fire burning.
