Smyth County Humane Society The Smyth County Humane Society (SCHS) is a non-shelter organization that advocates for dogs and cats Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m.

The Smyth County Humane Society (SCHS) is a non-shelter organization that advocates for prevention of cruelty to animals through education and public relations activities, facilitates pet adoptions by forever families and foster parents, effects pet population control through spay/neuter clinics with funding assistance for low-income families, works with rescue groups to save the lives of abandoned or homeless pets, and serves as liaison to the Smyth County Animal Shelter. on the second Monday of each month at Royal Oak Presbyterian Church, located at 139 West Main Street in downtown Marion, Virginia. The Smth County Humane Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization; donations are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines.

He was found on Snider Branch Rd in Marion. Do you recognize him?

If not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption or rescue after 10/13/2026.

These two dogs have been hanging around a residence on River Oak Drive (off Old Ebenezer) in Marion. They are very thin so may have been on the run for a while. If you know anything about these dogs please contact Jessica at 276-613-2306.
