Put your skills to the test at the 4-H Food Challenge at the Du Quoin State Fair!

Cake Decorating will be on Saturday, August 29, and Centerpiece Making will be on Thursday, September 3, at 6 p.m. in the Exposition Hall. These contests are FREE and open to youth 8-18.

Please register by Aug 25, at noon.

Franklin, Jackson, Perry, Randolph, and Williamson Counties 4-H is excited to partner with the DuQuoin State Fair to offer activities and volunteer opportunities for current and incoming 4-H members. The 2026 Du Quoin State Fair runs from August 28 through September 7. The Fairgrounds are open from 8 a.m. to Midnight for the duration of the Fair.
