Chicktime Marion’s March workshop was such a fun and meaningful time. There was so much laughter, but also those moments where you could just see things clicking—girls learning more about themselves and each other in a real, honest way. Thank you Anne for sharing your passion for personality tests and reminding us that growth can be joyful too.
At TruLight Village, the girls we serve are walking through seasons that require courage, healing, and a whole lot of support. That’s why showing up matters so much. It’s not just about the activity—it’s about creating a space where they feel seen, valued, and safe enough to discover who they are and who they’re becoming. Moments like these give them tools to navigate life, but even more than that, they remind them they’re not doing it alone.
We’re so grateful to be a small part of their journey—and we’d love to have you join us next month!

What a beautiful Valentine’s Day with this group of amazing women and young ladies. Chicktime is all about showing love and encouraging the next generation of young women. With the help of Rayna and Karen with Mary Kay, we did just that! Skin care, empowering bracelet making, and sweet treats.

It’s a new year. A time for new beginnings and plans for dreams and goals. A huge thank you to Liz Oakley for sponsoring our 2026 Vision Board Workshop.

The girls shared their plans for this upcoming year, including their passion and giftings.

Chicktime Marion, along with our sweet girls, celebrated Chicktime Saturday with a Christmas Bash!

A pancake and chocolate milk bar (because it’s still hot in Texas!) started our morning. Followed by fun games and cookie decorating! And thanks to are very generous donors, we were able to gift each of the girls personal gifts and treats. THANK YOU!

And a Happy Birthday to our very own Liz!

Although there were a lot of sweets, the sweetest treat is our scheduled fellowship time every second Saturday of the month!

Every Chicktime Saturday is the BEST Saturday, but today’s workshop was another best! We learned how to make Tamales! Thank you, Kristin, for your teaching, demo, and role modeling! We enjoyed it so much and the girls took lunch back to their homes!
