Employee Spotlight: CORDARO THOMAS

Man-Tra-Con CEO Stephanie Robinson presented Career Specialist Cordaro Thomas with an Impact Through Service Award for May 2026. WIOA Program Director Katie Zanotti nominated Cordero to receive the award.

"Cordaro has been with Man-Tra-Con for nearly a year as a Youth Career Specialist, and throughout that time, he has consistently demonstrated compassion and a strong commitment to serving others. Over the past several months, he has taken on additional responsibilities by balancing his role as a Youth Career Specialist while also managing the Resource Room in our Carbondale office," CEO Stephanie Robinson says.

"Over the last couple of months, Cordaro has stepped up in a big way during a time of transition and increased demands. No matter the situation, he approaches his work with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed. He consistently provides excellent customer service and works hard to ensure every customer feels welcomed, respected, and supported," Stephanie reports.

"One of Cordaro’s greatest strengths is his ability to connect with people. He does an exceptional job listening to customers, understanding what they need, and helping guide them in the right direction. Even in difficult or tense situations, Cordaro remains calm, professional, and approachable. His demeanor helps put people at ease and often helps de-escalate challenging interactions in a respectful and caring way," Stephanie explains.

"Cordaro is also a tremendous team player. He is always asking if there is anything else he can do to help and consistently looks for ways to support both staff and customers. His positive attitude, professionalism, and genuine care for others make him a valued part of the Man-Tra-Con team," Stephanie adds.

"Congratulations, Cordaro, and thank you for all you do. You are truly appreciated," Stephanie says.
