💙 Lighting the Way to Hope 💙 This Saturday💙

Grief is not something to get over. Some losses change the very fabric of who we are. If you are a bereaved parent navigating the loss of a child, you are not alone.

We invite you to join Lighting the Way to Hope, a compassionate support group created to provide connection, understanding, and hope alongside others who truly understand the journey of grief.

This group is facilitated by a Certified Grief Coach and Grief Educator and offers a safe, supportive space to share, listen, and find encouragement at your own pace.

Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, whether your child was an infant, child, teen, or adult, and regardless of the cause of loss, you are welcome here. Together, we honor our children, support one another, and light the way toward hope.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to precious Koa James!

Koa fought so bravely and won differently than we hoped and prayed he would. Koa didn’t get to stay for long, but his time here taught us lessons we will cherish for the rest of our races. Please pray for Koa’s beautiful family as they miss their boy every minute!

We LOVE our little warriors!!

Tristan is one of the sweetest little superheroes you can imagine! We have been so blessed to get to walk with him and his beautiful family through the hardest days and now we get to CELEBRATE HIS 6th BIRTHDAY!!!

If you are a parent grieving the loss of a child, you are warmly invited to join us for a compassionate morning of support, connection, and understanding.

This free group is for all parents who have experienced the loss of a child at any age or stage of life — from preborn to adult children. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are welcome here.

Our group is facilitated by a certified grief coach and grief educator, offering a safe space to share, listen, and walk alongside others who truly understand.

Light Work 316, Inc. has been created and guided by some of the bravest, smartest, and funniest kids you can imagine. Each of them have been facing a fight that the majority of us can not comprehend.

Will Birdsell was the epitome of the word warrior. He fought Osteosarcoma like it was a regular Tuesday and never wavered in bravery during that battle. We were so incredibly blessed to get to love Will and his amazing family during his battle and still today.

Will’s life is a legacy we are proud to have woven into the fabric of our purpose. The night Will met Jesus face to face, changed everything we thought we knew about grief and opened our hearts to the development of our grief program. Today, 6 years later, that program is expanding with Will’s legacy still firmly at the heart of it.

Happy Day you hugged Jesus, Warrior Will!! We love you and miss you!

We will keep trying to live just like you!

On Sunday, we were so glad to be part of the CHRISTUS Children's Celebration of Life, honoring the lives of every child in their system, who won their fight differently than we hoped. This is truly a beautiful event, that honors each child who has passed away in the last year, by name.

Because of your generosity, after the service, we were able to create beaded bookmarks, with their children’s names and plant seeds with the families in attendance. We were also able to gift each sibling in attendance their choice of handmade crocheted stuffed animal and 3D prints.

We are so grateful for our partnership with CHOSA as an extension of our joint commitment to support families facing their hardest days.
