The Rec&Collect Cosplay Contest Registration is Open!

Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer or making your stage debut, we invite you to join the fun and showcase your creativity. We can't wait to see the incredible costumes you'll bring to our inaugural cosplay contest!

Get ready for a full day of games, cosplay, collectibles, and nonstop family fun at the Rec & Collect Expo! Every dollar raised supports the Rec Center and Teens in the community.

Thank you POET and Marion City for your continued support of the Rec Center! $3,000 grant awarded towards teen scholarships to keep the Rec free for all teens in Marion County.

We are so thankful for POET Bioprocessing awarding the City of Marion $3,000 in grant funding to support free scholarships at the Rec Center!

Summer Sewing 101 for Teens

Ready to learn a new skill this summer? Join us for Summer Sewing 101, a fun and creative program designed for teens who want to learn the basics of sewing and how to use a sewing machine.

Participants will:

Learn fundamental sewing techniques
Gain confidence using a sewing machine
Develop practical and creative skills

Program Details
Dates: July 28 – August 13
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
Location: Rec Center
For: Teens entering Grades 6-12 in the Fall 2026

Cost: FREE
All supplies are included.
