Marion Direct Update
Marion Direct will be closing the CruX effective June 30, 2026.
All 12-step recovery groups are welcome to remain, but all other regular access and programming through The CruX will be ending.
Since our beginning in 2014, we have been incredibly fortunate and blessed to be among the first organizations in our area — technically the second — to provide recovery housing, and for ten years through this program we were honored to walk alongside so many in recovery. We still have the privilege of seeing that growth reflected in so many lives today.
In 2022, we recognized another need in our community and opened The CruX as a peer-support center — a place for crisis support, recovery events, meetings, sponsor support, meaningful community connection, advocacy, detox transportation, aftercare involvement, and simply a safe place for people to come as they were. This was built entirely through local volunteers, community support, and donations, with no paid staff.
We are deeply grateful for the love, friendships, and support that have been built through Marion Direct over the years. We truly believe Marion Direct has made a lasting impact on recovery in our community.
Please watch our page for details regarding the final REC Recovery at The CruX.
Again, all 12-step meetings may continue to meet at The CruX.
Marion supports recovery.
For the time being, Marion Direct remains available for advocacy.
Thank you for your support, your prayers, and for allowing us to serve this community.
