Residents,

For far too log our community has been left in the dark, and treated like 2nd class citizens by elected officials at all levels. This is particularly true when it comes to the issue of Education.

Our incumbent Superintendent of Schools has been in office for 4 years, and in that time we can all agree he hasn't taken the time to come out to our community to meet with us and listen to our concerns. During this election cycle he is running on the platform of his experience and while it's true he may have been more than just a teacher, it's very obvious that during his tenure he has worsened the State of the District.

But we the voters and concerned citizens of Marion Oaks, don't have to settle with the same-ole-same-olé. At the end of the month, (on August 30th), we will have a chance to voice our disapproval of the current leadership and bring about change.

In this election for Superintendent, there is only 1 candidate who will truly dedicate themselves to listening to the concerns of parents. That person is someone who I've been proud to standby! Dr Heidi Maier, is the real-deal, as she has the dedication, commitment and passion to shakeup the State of the district.

I hope you will join me and vote Dr. Heidi Maier, Candidate for Superintendent of Marion County Public Schools, on August 30th. IN THE MEANTIME, if you are still undecided, and aren't too busy this Saturday (August 20th), come on out to #1 New York Pizza (in the Winn Dixie plaza) anytime from 1-3pm to meet and learn more about Heidi Maier.
