$1000 Reward for Missing Steel Targets

Gateway 3-gun is offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the recovery of the following steel targets that were taken from our target storage area at Brittany Shooting Park:

• (1) MGM Heavy Duty Plate Rack with AR 500 rifle impact deflector plate
• (9) MGM Full Size Pepper Poppers
• (12) MGM US Pepper Poppers
• (3) MGM C**t Speed Plates
• (3) MGM Rollover Target Brackets
• (5) MGM Skinny SAMI Auto Poppers w/ Sniper Legs
• (2) Tooth & Nail Armory Skinny SAMI Auto Poppers

These targets were taken sometime over the course of the last 3 weeks. This has been reported to the Sheriff’s Office and is considered felony theft due to the value of the targets.

If the targets are returned voluntarily there will be no questions asked, we just want our targets back.

I would like to ask for the assistance of the shooting community in helping us find the missing steel targets. Please share this information on social media and pass it on to other shooters.

This is not something the average person has set up in their back yard. If you hear of someone who has recently acquired a significant number of steel targets, or a club that suddenly has more steel than they used to, please let us know.

These targets were not donated. They were not the property of some large corporate entity. Most of these targets were paid for by me personally. Some were the property of Generation III Gun, Inc. (a not-for- profit charitable organization). Some were on loan from shooters that attend G3G matches. All of these targets were purchased and used for the sole purpose of helping to promote the shooting sports and to facilitate bringing quality matches to our shooting community.

Please spread the word that there will not be a match this month. Hopefully we can get enough of a setup crew committed to be able to have one next month. If you would like to volunteer for setup next month please let me know.

I've been hesitant to post the next match registration because I've been unable to get commitment from enough people to help with setup. I need to get 5 or 6 that are willing to help on Saturday or I'm probably not going to be able to setup a match this month.

5 challenging stages that can be shot any number of ways depending on shooters skill level and preference. Can be shot with 2 or 3 guns. Longest shots will be 130 yards. NOT A G3G MATCH...This video we found on Facebook is a great example of an RO not stepping in when they should have and it leading to a situation that potentially put everyone in danger...Being an RO isn't just about running a timer it's about keeping the shooter and everyone around them safe...

Remeber safety is everyone's responsibility. Everyone that saw this should have been shouting STOP from the minute they became aware of what was about to happen.
