Central Coast Herpetological Society California's newest herpetological society serving the Central Coast. We welcome all who are interested in reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.

The Central Coast Herpetological Society (CCHS) is an organization made up of individuals dedicated to learning and teaching about the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians (herps) to our surrounding communities. CCHS exists to provide conservation efforts through public education programs, while nurt

uring the efforts of both professional and amateur herpetologists for the purpose of advancing knowledge in herpetology and captive husbandry. We are dedicated to educate the public and providing ways to introduce herps to children and adults. CCHS exists to provide members a place for exchange and sharing of resources, information, and ideas pertinent to herpetology. Members gather for meetings and activities in Monterey County and the surrounding areas of California's Central Coast. Our meetings will be held on the 1st Saturday of every month for all of 2014.
