During yesterday evening’s TPEHA Board of Directors meeting, Kathryn Avila and Daniel Gearhart were recognized as Volunteers of the Quarter for their recent work on designing, creating, publishing, and managing our new website, toropark-estates.com.

Their volunteer efforts have now given us the ability to centralize our documents for quick and easy digital access by our residents and homeowners. A great feature of the site is that paying membership dues and making donations can now be quickly and easily done by using a credit or ATM card.

Thank you to Kathryn and Daniel for their volunteer efforts in making our website a reality!

Following the start of the new year, our 2026 TPEHA membership drive is well underway. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has paid their 2026 dues and also to those who have so generously made a donation for our parks and greenbelts.

As many of you may already know, starting in 2026, membership dues and donations can be made quickly, securely, and easily by credit or ATM card through our new website: www.toropark-estates.com

Thank you to the nearly 20% of our residents who have used the website to pay their membership dues and contributed with a donation. When using the website, there is no need to complete the 2026 Membership Application / Renewal form since all the needed information is collected at the time of checkout.

If paying by check, we ask you to please complete the 2026 Membership Application / Renewal form, even if you are a long-time resident and your information hasn't changed. There is some new information we are collecting, and we want to make sure all our information is correct and up to date. We also want to make sure the dues are being attributed to the correct household if there is a homeowner who is paying for rental occupants.

Along with the application / renewal form in the image below that you can open and print, a hard copy of the form was included in the latest edition of The Bull's Tale, and is also available on the Membership Page of our website to download as a PDF Fill-In form.

Again, thanks to everyone who was sent in their dues and made donations.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Some of our volunteer Board Members have been serving on the Board of Directors for a very long time and have provided exceptional dedicated service to the Toro Park Estates community.

Once such Board Member, Carol Romo served as the Board Secretary for 17+ years and has currently served for the past 25 years as a Board Member and Managing Editor of The Bull's Tale. Although we hate to see her go, Carol will be retiring this summer from the Board and as Managing Editor of The Bull's Tale.

With Carol's retirement, we are looking for an Association Member to fill the position as a Board Member and Managing Editor of our Newsletter, The Bull's Tale. Although this task doesn't necessarily mean it's entirely managed by an individual, it can be a committee endeavor, but we still need an identified person to serve as Managing Editor while also having a position on the Board of Directors.

The Bull's Tale is published each quarter as four editions a year and is delivered to every resident in Toro Park Estates by our wonderful Block Captains. Although currently developed in Microsoft Word in a three-column format, any appropriate publishing / software program or appropriate format can be used for developing and editing future editions of The Bull's Tale.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors in the capacity of The Bull's Tale Managing Editor, please contact the Board President, Suzanne du Verrier. Suzanne's contact information is in the latest edition of The Bull's Tale and in the Member Directory. You can also go to the Board of Directors Page of our website and download the "Application for Board of Directors Position" form. You can also email us at: [email protected].

Your consideration for serving in this position would be very much appreciated.
