Veteran Spotlight: Thomas

Thomas came to VTC during one of the most difficult times in his life. Through support, resources, and a community committed to helping veterans succeed, he was able to rediscover hope and believe in his future again.

As we celebrate 30 years of serving veterans, we’re proud to share stories that demonstrate the lasting impact of your support.

Help us continue changing lives through our 30K in 30 Days campaign. Together, we can ensure more veterans find the hope, stability, and opportunity they deserve.

Veteran Spotlight: Craig

“I am where I am today because of VTC. Coming here literally saved my life. VTC is my family, and their support has been life-changing.”

Stories like Craig’s remind us why our mission matters. For 30 years, Veterans Transition Center has helped veterans find stability, hope, and a path forward. Every donation helps us continue providing housing, support services, and opportunities that change lives.

As we celebrate 30 years of service, we’re working to raise $30,000 in 30 days to support veterans like Craig and those who will walk through our doors in the future.

30 Years. $30,000. One Mission.

Today, we begin a special celebration of 30 years of serving Veterans throughout California with the launch of our 30K in 30 Days Campaign.

Since 1996, Veterans Transition Center has empowered Veterans, restored stability, and strengthened futures through housing, supportive services, workforce development, and whole-person care.

Over the past 30 years, more than 40,000 Veterans have turned to VTC for support, opportunity, and a path forward.

Every day, Veterans come to us seeking more than temporary assistance. They are seeking stability, purpose, independence, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

Today, we're asking our community to help us raise $30,000 by June 30 so more Veterans can access the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Whether you give $30, $300, or $3,000, every gift helps empower Veterans, restore stability, and strengthen futures.

Goal: $30,000 by June 30

June is PTSD Awareness Month.

PTSD is an invisible wound that can affect Veterans long after their military service has ended. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance behaviors, and heightened feelings of stress or anxiety.

Veterans are more likely to experience PTSD than civilians, but support, treatment, and recovery are possible.

This month, we honor the strength and resilience of Veterans living with PTSD and encourage those in need to seek help and support.

Not all wounds are visible.
