Our cub scouts enjoyed an amazing hiking time today on a beautiful sunny day 🤗

Tonight’s pack meeting was for the birds—in the best way! We were honored to welcome a special guest from the Monterey Audubon Society, who helped our Scouts learn about local birds, habitats, and why protecting wildlife matters. After learning, our Scouts got to build and decorate their own bird feeders.

Special recognition: We were also proud to celebrate several of our outstanding Scout leaders, who received district-level awards for their dedication and service. Our pack is stronger because of their commitment to our Scouts and families!

This meeting was a perfect example of Scout values in action:

Respect for the outdoors
Helping other living things
Doing our best
Being responsible citizens of our world
Recognizing others that do their best

These hands-on moments help Scouts grow into kind, thoughtful leaders who understand that even small actions—like feeding birds—can make a big difference.

Pinewood Derby 2026 in the books!!! Some of the coolest and fastest cars we’ve seen!

We also had an amazing special guest! NASCAR Weekly Series national champion and West Coast Stock Car Hall of Famer, Doug McCoun!

The pinewood derby helps promote several things in Scouting:

1. Character Development: by Following the rules and playing fair.

2. Sportsmanship: Learning to win AND lose with grace.

3. Family Time: The parent and cub working together and sharing in the results.

4. Personal Achievement: Learning skills about building the racer.

5. Fun and Adventure: What better way to describe a day at the races!

Great job to all our scouts and great big thank you to our pack family for an amazing event!

✨ Holiday Cheer✨

What a joyful Pack meeting for pack 135 families! This month scouts focused on Reverence. Our Scouts created meaningful gifts for others.

🖐️ Handprint cards to share with loved ones
🍪 Cookie decorating (so many sprinkles!)
⛄ Slime snowman creations: squishy, silly, and a huge hit!

We also had a special visit from Santa himself!

Thank you to our volunteers and families for making this holiday event festive, heartfelt, and full of laughter. Wishing our Pack 135 families a season filled with adventure, kindness, and cheer!

Pack 135 had the honor of leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the City of Marina’s Council meeting.

Our scouts were proud to represent the values of service, leadership, and community. A heartfelt thank-you to the Mayor and Council for welcoming us. We appreciate all you do for our community!

🎁 Pack 135 Gives Back! 🎄

Our Cub Scouts put the “Do a Good Turn Daily” motto into action by filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! Each box was packed with love filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, and some incredible “wow” gifts that will bring big smiles to kids around the world. 🌍💚

Scouts celebrated with a movie night and popcorn bar! Scouts got creative mixing and shaking their own popcorn snack mix scooping up their favorite toppings for the perfect movie treat!🍿🎬

A huge thank you to all our families for donating and helping make a difference this season. Way to go, Pack 135, spreading kindness, one shoebox at a time! 💙🐾

🎃Mummy Mayhem & Spooky S’mores! 🎃

Our Cub Scouts had a frightfully fun den meeting tonight! After practicing some scout skills, the scouts put their teamwork skills to the test by turning our brave den leaders into toilet paper mummies and yes, the leaders survived! 🧻

After all the giggles and wrap battles, we finished the evening with some spooky s’mores and a few good ghostly grins. 👻 We even had Stitch at our meeting!
