Have you heard??? Deep Water Ministries is hosting our first-ever mother/daughter retreat for middle school girls and moms, and we can't be more excited!
When? July 22-24. Where? Morningstar Retreat Center.

Here's some good news for 2022. "The Lord is my shepherd…" and he never loses his sheep.

He leads you to rest. If you can relax under His faithfulness and slow down, Jesus will show you green pastures and quiet waters.

And even if He''s been leading you through shadows of darkness, and the journey's been kind of treacherous, He's still leading. You're not alone on the winding paths, You're not abandoned while you're crossing the deep ravines. Walk with confidence and look for the areas of new grass ahead.

"The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,

What truths has God revealed in quietness and solitude? What truths have you left to Him, while you ponder them in your heart?

It's pretty amazing to read Mary's example – quietly waiting for God to clear her character and leaving it up to Him to reveal more to the world. The angels were rejoicing, and that was enough for Mary.

Whether the busyness of the season is overtaking you, or the sadness of what you hoped the season to be, and the expectant hope that Christ brings to make all things new is heavy on your shoulders today, the truths of Jesus – His mercy, His grace, His love – tuck them safely into your heart.

Meditate on them. Ponder them. And wait.
