JOIN US for a night of fun! Tickets are just $10 and all proceeds will go to help support this summer’s production of BIg Fish, the musical!

Welcome to the casting call that would never happen in real life.

For one night only, performers get to leave their usual casting categories behind and take on the roles and songs they’ve always wanted to perform. Princes become villains, adults become children, women sing men’s roles, men sing women’s roles, and every performer gets the chance to step into a character they would never be cast as in a traditional production.

The result is a wildly entertaining evening filled with humor, heart, surprises, and some truly unforgettable musical theatre moments.

After all, who says you have to be the “right type” to sing the song of your dreams? 🎭✨

Ticket sales are now open for BIG FISH, the musical, presented by Cue West Players at the Due West Center for the Arts! You do not want to miss this magical production!

Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton with a screenplay by John August, BIG FISH is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him, especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity.

With its soaring score, unforgettable characters, and a blend of humor and heartfelt emotion, BIG FISH offers an extraordinary theatrical experience that celebrates the joy of life, the importance of family, and the beauty of the stories we tell.

We still have room in this super fun Art camp next week, and it’s not too late to register!

Pack your imagination and get ready to travel the world—without ever leaving the art room! In It’s a Wild World Art Camp, young artists will explore five incredible ecosystems, creating imaginative, hands-on art projects inspired by a different biome each day.

Throughout the week, campers will learn about animals, plants, colors, textures, and environments unique to each biome while experimenting with a wide variety of art materials and techniques. Projects will include drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and 3D artwork, allowing students to build, sculpt, and create with their hands as well as on paper.

On the last day of camp, families are invited in to an Art Show featuring all the kids’ projects from the week.

Registration is OPEN for our fall shows!

CENTERSTAGE ENSEMBLE (6th-12th grade) will be presenting Descendants the musical! We are super pumped to be

STORYBOOK PLAYHOUSE (2nd-5th grade) will be bringing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to life on our stage! We can’t wait to make a trip to the North Pole just in time for Christmas!

Auditions for both shows will be held in August, with rehearsals starting the week following auditions. More info at the registration link in comments!

We are so close to our first week of summer camps at the Center for the Arts! We kick things off beginning on June 8th with two camps - “It’s a Wild World” Art Camp, and “Broadway Dreamers” musical theatre camps.

Both of those camps have a few spots left, and it’s not too late to sign up! Join us for a super fun week being creative and imaginative! Our staff is ready and excited to meet everyone!
