It’s been so encouraging to see so many people step up and say yes. Whether that means serving, learning more about adoption and foster care, or simply exploring what their own yes could look like.

Meet Lindsey! She and her family have been faithfully serving with our Adoption and Foster Care Ministry for over two years and have seen incredible life change as she helps AFC Families find truth, belonging, and purpose in Jesus.

Lindsey and her family serve through our Care Community program to love on, support, pray with, and do life with our AFC families.

Meet the Henderlong Family 💙

“The Lord has used the Johnson Ferry Adoption & Foster Care Ministry to bless us greatly throughout our adoption journey. Without the LifeSong for Orphans Matching Grant, provided by JF, we wouldn’t have had the funds to cover portions of our adoption. The Lord didn’t just provide financially, but spiritually and physically through our Care Team and the Foster & Adoption Support Group. Meals delivered, yard work done, and prayers upon prayers answered!”

Meet the Buhls Family 💙

Pete, who serves on staff here at Johnson Ferry, and his family stepped into foster care after years of wondering if the timing was right. Now, one of their favorite parts has been watching their foster daughter grow and seeing the sweet relationship she’s built with their twin boys.

The funny part? The boys had two requests, no babies and no girls, Their first placement was both! And they’ve loved her from day one!

Their advice? Just start taking steps. Come learn more about foster care this Wednesday at 6pm in Room 204!
