Foothills District BSA is #1 in Rank Advancement for the whole Atlanta Area Council BSA this year. Pack 1417 Scouts have worked hard and earned 23 Rank Badges! Way to go Scouts 🥳 Big shoutout to the Den Leaders for guiding us and to the Parents for all the support. We can't wait to celebrate everyone's achievements at the Rank Advancement Celebration Monday!

April was a great month for Scouting at Pack 1417! We had so much fun at our Pack Meeting pretending to be detectives 🕵️‍♀️and learning about fingerprints and Morse Code. Then we got our hands dirty while helping the Davis Elementary School PTA , our awesome sponsors, on Davis Beautification Day🌿. Then we wrapped up the month with camping 🏕at the Camp Burt Adams Boys Scouts of America Spring Cub-A-Ree!

It’s a great day for scouting ! These two scouts from
pack 1417 participated in Memoral day activity at Marietta National Cemetery. They placed flags and honored the soldiers!!

Don't miss our Fall Family Camping event!

We're heading to Bert Adams to attend Spooky-Ree, where we will participate in STEM activities, arts & crafts, Scout skills, physical challenges, games, shooting sports and more!
Private shower facilities with running water and flushing toilets are featured throughout both camps. Medical forms are required to attend. Gates open at 4pm on Friday and we typically depart for home around 10am on Sunday. We will plan on pack meals for the weekend, except for Friday dinner (on your own). More details will be emailed as the date gets closer.

Welcome Picnic
Saturday, Sept. 11th
10am - 1pm
Hampton Ridge Pool Pavilion

It's time for us to get together and meet our newest pack members. We've added 9 new scouts to our pack. Come and get to know them, while reconnecting with old friends.

We realize your day might be full of sports and other commitments, so feel free to stop by for as little or as long as you can. The pool is closed for the season, but we will be doing a scout favorite activity and the playground should be available for extra entertainment.

We will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, so just plan on bringing a side dish to share. Hope to see you Saturday!
