Marietta Square Nativity

Marietta Square Nativity Pray further for the committee membership, for discernment and wisdom to fulfill God’s purpose in their work, and to glorify Him in all they do.

The Nativity is a three-day event held at Christmas time in the heart of the Marietta Square where churches from the surrounding area come to worship – giving of their time and talents to celebrate the birth of Christ! To maintain and continue this outreach there are several ways to become involved, and we invite you to prayerfully consider doing so, in one or more of the following areas:

PRAYER.

Most importantly, please pray that the Nativity on the Square, especially, would touch the lives of all who experience it, making them receptive to the true meaning of Jesus Christ’s birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension, opening their hearts to a new or renewed life of salvation and discipleship to Him as Lord and Savior. But also pray that the Nativity would be allowed to remain on the Square for a longer period of time (currently limited to just three days, while Santa Claus, for instance, is allowed five days). Finally, please pray for the necessary funds to ensure the Nativity will continue to be presented on the Square, and for additional funding for additional materials, transportation, storage, maintenance, fees and permits. It means the world to us to be able to carry on this tradition started by our mother almost 30 years ago. Your participation and donations made it all possible. There is no higher honor than to be able to share the birth of our savior with others.
