This morning, several of our Cubs and their families proudly participated in the annual flag placement at Marietta National Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Our Scouts represented Pack 675 with pride, wearing their uniforms respectfully and showing reverence alongside community members and other scouting organizations who came together to honor our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to our Cubs and their families for taking the time to serve and help prepare this sacred place of remembrance. As Memorial Day approaches, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave all for our freedom.

May 11th was a special day as our Cubs advanced to their next rank! We gathered at Laurel Park for an evening filled with food, fellowship, and celebration.

One of our Cubs had to leave early, so one of our Scouts who helps with the pack stepped in to help cross him over before he left. We were also proud to present his mom with a certificate recognizing her volunteerism and support.

We opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, Scout Oath, Scout Law, and the Outdoor Code before enjoying all of the delicious food everyone brought to share.

The evening continued with awards and recognition, starting with our non-Cub volunteers first — because it truly takes a village to make all of the fun and adventures possible. We are so grateful for each and every volunteer who gives their time and energy to our pack!

Next came recognition for our Cubs who worked hard on rank advancement and electives throughout the year. Then it was time for the symbolic crossing of the bridge as each Scout advanced to their next rank. New neckerchiefs and handbooks were presented, along with goody bags filled with a new neckerchief slide representing their new rank and fun goodies to keep them busy exploring, discovering, and having fun throughout the summer until we meet again.

We wrapped up the celebration with our closing circle — a wonderful ending to a memorable evening. Congratulations to all of our Cubs on their achievements!
