More than 3,800 members
A district since 1983

The oldest club in it, Atlanta, was chartered in 1913. Thomasville followed in 1921 and is still going.

Somewhere in that list is a club that meets fifteen minutes from you.

Happy Thirsty Thursday from Rotary Club of East Cobb! Fun and Fellowship is something we do right at our monthly social especially. Rotary "Thirsty Thursday" is a casual monthly social gathering hosted by local area Rotary clubs held on the third Thursday of each month starting typically at 5:30 PM for drinks, food, and fellowship.

Great seeing everyone at Sidelines Grille East Cobb this evening. Be sure to join us next month, location TBD.

Rotary Club of East Cobb loves Wednesday mornings! Why, because we get to see all your warm, smiling faces at our weekly breakfast meeting for food, fun, fellowship, and community service.

This morning was no exception with guest speaker Rotary District 6900 Governor Cynthia Dorsey Edwards presenting her plans and vision for not only our district, but how we work to achieve that of Rotary International as well. Accompanying her was our dear friend Lisa Gelber, Assistant District Governor who is everywhere!

Jim Flowers was our Rotarian of the Week ROTW so we hope you all got a chance to see, speak to, and shake Jim's hand!

We are always so happy to see you all but especially glad to see and love on Harry Boone, one of our chapter founding members! You would be hard pressed to find a kinder, gentler soul than Harry who cares so much about Rotary and giving back to our community!

This morning, we had the opportunity to present our public safety Community Service Award to Cobb Police Precinct 4. Captain Kincaid and his officers serve Cobb County with distinction!

We were happy to welcome other honored guests Troy Tomczak and Chris Merrion. Keep coming back as we love having you.

Special Thanks to Rotarian Joel Terry for sharing his garden harvest of squash and cherry tomatoes!

We are ready to kick off Dog Days Run 2027 sponsor recruitment and encourage all members to think of potential sponsor solicitations to ensure another great event raising funds for nearly 30 local charities right here in our community. The more we raise the more charities we can support.
