Phi Theta Kappa Members and Friends,

I am pleased to announce that Tracey Sawtelle has accepted the role of Chapter President. Tracey has successfully completed the PTK Leadership Development program, the Competitive Edge, the Healthcare Edge, and the Advocacy Edge, as well as participated in the Chapter Officer Training webinar. We are grateful for her commitment to our chapter and to Phi Theta Kappa, and we look forward to her leadership.

In addition, our chapter will be hosting a hot dog fundraiser during Belpre Homecoming on Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We would greatly appreciate any volunteers who are able to assist with this event. Thank you for your continued support.

Phi Theta Kappa Members and Friends,

Friendly reminder the Induction Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 7th at 5:00 p.m. in Graham Auditorium. Your friends and family are invited and light refreshments will be served after the event. The ceremony will last about 30 minutes.

We are still planning to dedicate the ceremony to supporting hungry veterans. If you’re attending, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item or a personal hygiene item (like a toothbrush or toothpaste) to donate.

Phi Theta Kappa Members and Friends,

We are partnering with Roy Campbell and Greg Mitchell and the Veterans of Foreign Wars to help feed hungry veterans. The Theme is: Feed Our Community Veterans. We are asking the students that plan to attend the induction ceremony to bring one non-perishable food item or a personal hygiene item to the ceremony. Plus, we plan to have container or a barrel in the Commons so people can drop items off. We are going to run this to the end of May. Thanks for your support.

Phi Theta Kappa Members and Friends,

If you were unable to attend the last meeting, please be aware that the Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m. in Graham Auditorium. If you plan to attend, please let us know so we can include your name in the program.

Please arrive about 15 minutes early. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. Dr. Parker, President of WSCO, will give a brief address, followed by each inductee being invited to the stage to sign the induction book.

In addition, this year’s induction ceremony will support veterans in need. We kindly ask that you bring at least one nonperishable food item or a personal care item, such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. Thank you for your support of our veterans.

Family and friends are welcome, and light refreshments will be served afterward in the first-floor lobby. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Our chapter will be hosting a two-day bake sale on Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, February 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The sale will be located on the second floor of the main building near the bridge and crosswalk.

All proceeds will benefit the PTK Faye Treadway Service Scholarship.
