Passing the phone -Scouts edition!

Last weekend, our scouts went to Camp Comer to work on the camping and climbing merit badges! In the morning, the scouts did several climbs and rappels of the camp's 38' climbing tower. They also learned new knots, as well as how to belay and back-up belay. After lunch, the scouts wrapped up their requirements and learned to use an ascender to get up the tower. For the rest of the afternoon, the scouts took a short trip to DeSoto State Park before wrapping up the evening with a great meal and a beautiful fire. What a fantastic weekend and a gorgeous campground!

Join the troop THIS Sunday, April 12th, for our lunchtime fundraiser with Unity North Atlanta! The troop will be serving baked potatoes with several topping options, along with cookies and drinks. All money earned from this event will go towards keeping Unity North beautiful and supporting our scouts as they fund their adventures, such as Summer Camp or a High Adventure trek. Also, a huge thank you to Kroger, Chick-fil-A, Crumbl, Whataburger, City BBQ, and of course Unity North Atlanta Church for helping make this possible! Come on out this Sunday, bring your family and friends, and we'll have a great lunch!
