Last night our congregation participated in one of our favorite community outreach activities. For the past 5 years we have partnered with the Cobb County Police Community Service Unit to wrap the 100’s of presents they purchase each year for at risk kids in our community. Thanks Cobb Police for what y’all do each and everyday! Go God!

Now I lay me down to sleep, at 0330 my alarm will beep! Best last day ever! Pool party in the morning with our host family and then on to a day of sightseeing in downtown San Juan led by the one and only Luis! Finished with an incredible visit to the Methodist Children’s Home! We might very well have found a new opportunity to serve in CR…..oh and it’s in the 70’s every day! Pray us home! Peace y’all! Go God!

Day 2! It’s a wrap! Dennis Chun challenged us all to “find our why” and to not let the mission trip end once we are back in ATL. Nathan Isles and Meghan Franklin shared their talents by singing for the worship service. Peace and Amen.

Due West United Methodist Church is proud to be partnering with Bethany United Methodist Church to bring Dinner Church to Osborne High School. Over 80 students and their parents came for dinner, music and a message! Amen and Amen

Thank you to the many missionaries of Due West United Methodist Church for providing water for the over 200 kids that come out to today’s Cobb Police Athletic League Baseball clinic. We love supporting this great community partner as they love on the kids of Cobb County! Go God! Peace y’all.

Hey West Cobb! This is just one of many carloads of school supplies that Due West United Methodist Church was able to deliver to 5 Cobb County schools! Thanks to everyone’s generosity we supported Compton ES, Due West ES, Clarkdale ES, Tapp MS and Osborne HS. Go God!

God hear our prayers. Due West United Methodist Church gathered on the grounds of Due West Elementary school this afternoon to pray for the faculty, staff, and families that will be coming here this year. We also lift up all families, teachers, staff everywhere. Lord create safe places for all to grow and to develop. Create environments where challenges are turned into opportunities. Peace and Amen.

Hey Missionaries! Due West United Methodist Church is supporting The Cobb Police Athletic League by hosting a hydration station at tonight’s youth introduction to martial arts clinic. These clinics are free to the youth of Cobb County! There is still room to help tomorrow afternoon!
