Our Story

Atlanta Youth Ballet, founded by Georné Aucoin in October 2018, is an organization that strives to elevate the arts in metro Atlanta by offering performance and learning opportunities to exceptionally gifted dance students of all backgrounds. We aspire to do this by providing access to pre-professional ballet training, on par with top tier programs nationwide. This also includes in-depth exposure to resident faculty as well as guest artists from across the world, opportunity to engage with professional choreography, and the challenge of learning and executing full-length classical ballets. Additionally, AYB works to further emerge ourselves into the community by exposing the residents of metro Atlanta to various forms of dance. Our goal is to create opportunities for people to become more educated on the arts, specifically the dance industry, and how these forms can have a mutualistic benefit on our society. Atlanta Youth Ballet is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
