WE ARE SHOCKED!!

Most of you know that for the last 17 years, we have rescued moms and puppies and many times, just orphan puppies. Well over 2000 puppies. So when we tell you that the puppies we have are so special, we know what we're talking about.
The World Cup has come and gone and we still have 2 puppies! These guys are terrific! They are sweet, social, smart and they need their forever homes.
So, if you have been thinking that maybe you are ready for a sweet family member or know someone who is, please share these two. They are fully vetted so only need heartworm preventive for a year! Please contact us at [email protected] or comment here. They are ready to meet you!

We received a note from the Bertz family to let us know that Kudzu had recently passed. These notes always break our hearts, but when we hear what long, happy and healthy lives they lived there is a sense of relief. Yes, we wish they could be with us forever, but wow did they give it their best. See you on the other side!❤️

Saying goodbye to a beloved family member is always difficult. The one thing that we can be certain of is that they will remain in our hearts forever. Tess was one of the beauties from our "This is Us" litter. Run free Tess until such time you can run with your family again. 💖

"We met Tess (from the “This Is Us” litter) at a Red Bandana adoption event in 2017. We left that day empty-handed but full of hope, and when we got the call the next day that she was ours, it felt like the beginning of something special-and it was.

For nearly nine years, Tess was my heart dog, my best friend, and the sweetest companion. She filled our lives with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and we will cherish her forever.

Tess passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving night of 2025. It’s hard to understand how quickly it happened, but in a way, that’s how Tess came into my life too-suddenly and all at once. From the moment she arrived, she changed my life forever.

We love you, Tess. "

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY ROCCO! Wow, you don't look a day over 98. We love seeing happy, healthy pups. Rocco on the right is seen playing with his sister Lola. Here's to many more wonderful years ahead. 🎂🧡🎶

We also lost sweet Bernie (on the right) this past week. Erin you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We know Bernie and Maya both had super lives. Run free kids! ❤️

The Drewitz family lost sweet Shadow yesterday. This breaks our heart, they are all gone way too soon. We wish they could be with us forever, but we are so blessed to have such great adopters! It's so heartwarming to see what long, beautiful lives our pups have had. Rest in peace Shadow...run free.

FOSTER OR ADOPT
Niko is just about the sweetest. He's been living at Haven, The Dog Spot for a long time and we think he could sure use a HOME BREAK. He's pretty laid back and would love to be the recipient of some hugs and kisses. If you have a home with a little extra room for this lug, please reach out.
