⭐️A huge thank you to our first-half “all-male concession crew” — Curtis Doscher, Justin McKinney, and our Volunteer of the Week, Adam Smith! 🍔
🏆 Adam deserves special recognition not only for his hard work in the concession stand, but also for bringing his personal grill to BOTH of our home swim meets. Your dedication helped keep everyone fed and happy, and we truly appreciate all you’ve done for the team. Thank you, Adam!
📣 Honorable mention goes to our King of the “Boop,” announcer extraordinaire Dan Hoeller! After both of our bullhorns broke this season, Dan stepped up and took on the role of announcer and sound-effects specialist like the CHAMP that he is. We promise to get you a new bullhorn next year, Dan, but we are so grateful for your enthusiasm, energy, and commitment to the team.
“Take your mark… BOOP!” 📣🏊♂️
Thanks again to all of our amazing volunteers who make this team so special! 🩵🦈
⭐️This week’s Swimmers of the Week is all about the IM—the Individual Medley! 🏊♀️🏊♂️
The Individual Medley is one of swimming’s most challenging events because it requires athletes to master all four competitive strokes in a single race. Swimmers compete in the following order: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. Success in the IM demands versatility, endurance, technique, and strong transitions between each stroke.
🏆 Graham Rogers - amazing job getting out there and giving the IM a try for the first time ever!
🏆 The Fallaw Family - Finley, Molly Kate and Lilly all swam the IM. Awesome job Fallaw Swimmers!!
⭐️ Great work to everyone who stepped up and took on the challenge of the IM this week. We are proud of all of you for your hard work, courage, and willingness to try something tough!
