Better Dayz Outreach is a non-profit agency which provides mentoring and educational services to the youth and grocery and prescription services to the elderly and disabled in and around Cobb County, Georgia. The program will develop partnerships with local schools, nursing/senior living homes and organizations that serve the disabled. The mission of Better Dayz Outreach is to foster healthy envir

onments through the promotion of communally unified service. Our purpose is to simultaneously assist the elderly and disabled with transportation services while also encouraging professional development and skill building among at risk youth. Our objective is to ensure that we provide healthy transitions from childhood to adulthood and develop empowering, inspiring and educational programs that encourage healthy relationships.

Better Dayz is putting together a fundraiser entitled "Walking to Drive." This upcoming event will be a walk and is geared at providing a handicap-accessible vehicle to Althea Holmes, who was born with a rare disability that called arthrogryposis. This condition causes deformities with her arms, legs, and spine. Sign up here to participate and/or request more information.
