This , you have the opportunity to make a difference for hardworking neighbors like Wendy.

Wendy, who has been running a commercial cleaning company on her own, struggles to make ends meet despite working more than 50 hours a week. “I work about 50 to 60 hours a week, but after paying rent and utilities, there’s not much left,” Wendy said. “I have never experienced this before.”

The Food Bank has been a relief for Wendy, providing not only food assistance but also dignity and compassion.

“If you looked at me on paper, you would think I don't need help. But really, I do.
I think more people are in my situation than would like to admit,” Wendy shared.
She encourages others to seek food assistance when needed. “Y’all help me and don’t make me feel like I’m less of a person. That’s the best thing about this place.”

It’s the great Thanksgiving Dish! On Monday, volunteers and members of the media came together to pack Thanksgiving food boxes for neighbors in need. By the end of the day, they provided 8,860 meals for our community!

On Saturday, we celebrated and recognized our top 50 volunteers of the past year. Their dedication, compassion, and generosity have made a lasting impact on our mission and our community.
