United Military Care hears this concern often. We respect the heart behind it - those who have given so much are often hesitant to ask for anything in return, even if it is well deserved. If this is you, we want you to know that we understand. We also want you to know that we would be honored if you joined us for the upcoming We CARE Vet Fair™: Metro Atlanta event. Even if it's just out of curiosity. Even if you don't meet with a VSO.

There is always something out there that we don't know about, or don't take advantage of. This is an opportunity to learn something new. Who knows - it might just change everything.

We invite our Veterans, Current Military (including our Reserves and National Guard), Military Families, Caregivers, and Survivors to join us at Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta on Thursday, October 22, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

VA benefits support, legal help, healthcare, mental health, employment support, and wellness screenings will be on-site, offered at no cost to attendees.

United Military Care is proud to be a benefitting charity for this year's 12th Annual Veterans Memorial 5K on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at historic Marietta Square.

This event honors the heroes who have served our nation- past, present, and fallen- while raising funds to support veterans and military families.

Make a day of it! After the race, stay for the Marietta Veterans Day Parade and Veterans Day Ceremony as our community comes together to recognize the sacrifices of America’s service members.

Every registration helps support those who have worn the uniform and the families who stand beside them.

Holiday turkeys are coming to Rome, Georgia!

On Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Team UMC will be at the Rome Civic Center for our Give Thanks for Those Who Served: Holiday Turkey Distribution. Registration is now open - sign up today!
