Big news from Camp WaBak! 🎉

After two rounds of community voting and thoughtful input from our committee, we’re excited to officially introduce the new name of our cabin unit: Voyager. Voyager reflects the spirit of adventure, curiosity, and discovery that lives at Camp WaBak, and fits perfectly alongside cabin names like Rambler, Pathfinder, and Pioneer. We love how it captures the sense of exploration and possibility that camp brings to every girl who walks through its doors.

We can’t wait to see the memories, friendships, and adventures that will begin in Voyager. Here’s to the journeys ahead and all the places camp can take you! 🌟

On Saturday, April 25, we hosted Hike, Play, Explore: Camp WaBak Community Day! We welcomed community members and our Girl Scout family to Camp WaBak for the reopening of our Observation Deck Trail, made possible by the Hathaway Foundation. We also welcomed community partners from the Greenville County Library System, Girls on the Run Upstate SC , and Hendersonville Bounce for fun activities and helpful information. TOP DAWG and Boba Yama were on site for delicious food and drink, and we loved hosting DJ Eve Hill for awesome music and Paint Ju**ie for beautiful face painting. We hope everyone had a wonderful time hiking, canoeing, crafting, shooting at the archery range, and more!

We're looking for volunteers for our upcoming community day!

Camp WaBak Community Day is shaping up to be an awesome day, and we need some additional volunteers to supervise girl-led activities, be our incredible hosts and guides, and help out in program areas like archery and canoeing. We will provide a great opportunity, awesome cause, and delicious lunch. You'll arrive by 9:30 a.m and leave shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. All adults and older girls welcome!
