We had a huge turnout of almost two dozen scouts for advancement day in advance of our Court of Honor later this month. This is an “open house” event where Scouts can work on open requirements for rank advancement and merit badges.

Our cadre of youth leadership also worked on preparing for our upcoming Introduction to Leadership Skills training. This basic training ensures all Scouts are prepared for leadership positions in Troop 714.

We are proud to announce the addition of two new Eagle Scouts to our roster. Lee G and Thomas F represent the best of Troop 714 and are exceptional Scouts. We can’t wait to see what they do next!

We're SO CLOSE to our goal! With 90 meal kits already sponsored, we need just 60 more to reach our target of 150 kits for children who are going hungry this summer.

DEADLINE: Tomorrow at 6 PM

Right now, there are children in our community with empty lunch boxes and growling stomachs because school meals aren't available. Each $8 donation feeds one child for a week, and YOU can be the difference between a child going hungry or having a decent meal.

Summer camp is all about learning new skills and having experiences we don’t have in East Cobb. Several Troop 714 Scouts completed their Horsemanship and Animal Science merit badge at Stockton Farms this week - a unique opportunity to get hands-on on a working farm. This is what Scouting is all about!
