Raleigh did a very high end mechanical restoration on this sax, including key fitting and tone hole leveling. It’s hard to say when the last time this Bari played so well🌟

Our good friend Dixon dropped off his two trumpets and fluglehorn to be cleaned and polished- his fluglehorn had some very stuck parts but after some advanced techniques, they came apart and everything turned out nicely!

Not a day goes by where we’re not changing pads and cleaning instruments!

This antique Buffet clarinet got a full repad with cork pads (and bladder pads in the lower big four), new tenon corks, and a re-conditioned/oiled bore…Allison also noticed that the conture of the thumb tube that extends into the bore of the top joint was out of alignment so she corrected that too!

Allison was very satisfied to complete this Yamaha tenor sax repad- all new Roo pads with air-tight brass star resonators and premium tech cork and ultra suede key corks for a firm but quiet action!

This repair was possible thanks to our new acetylene gas set up! Allison was able to use the high heat and energy output of the acetylene gas to silver solder (or Braze) together this broken bassoon key:

Happy holidays from the repair center! This is the L’Brilster family- Armand, Joody, and D’Bruval, their pet! Also joining the L’Brilsters are neighbor ThreeHorn and cousin Kernal!

The L’Brilsters are clumps of remnants from the ultra sonic cleaner filter that have become like family in our shop- so from our family to yours, may the season be bright!
