HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED

We are brand new and hit the ground running! We need all the help that can be provided to really make this flourish. Wether that be monetary, or offer of use of land and materials. Anything and everything helps, like a class about a hobby you are passionate about. The possibilities are endless.

We are in the process of filing for our 501c3, which is our first milestone and goal for us to reach. Depending on the complexity and company used, this can cost between $1000-$2000. This is the first step in our process, which will allow us to receive donations and give back a tax receipt that is deductible.

After this goal is achieved we will be moving into land acquisition for the community garden locally. We are talking with a couple land owners in Canton Georgia and surrounding areas currently that have stated they may be interested in leasing land for use. That’s as far as that has gotten.

As this is a community nonprofit, I want to include the community from the ground up. Transparency is paramount to a strong foundation with the public. Our intentions are to put all our efforts and hard work into this and provide an amazing community for our children to lean on and thrive. It takes a village!

If you really want to get involved with this, reach out to us and let’s chat. We can network ideas and form a strong webbing network that helps support each other. Another way you can get involved is by helping us reach our current goals! It takes money to get any idea off the ground, and we rely currently on what we have. THATS YOU! The individual.

Welcome to Odin’s Guild!

We are a nonprofit youth organization centered around community teachings and outreach. We strive to provide a healthy and creative outlet for your child to learn invaluable skills and promote a sense of wonder and inspiration. Odin’s Guild was established in 2020, and has proudly supported youth programs, mycology enthusiasts, artists, and entrepreneurs within the community. We believe the future of our world is in the hands of our youth, and what better way to change the world than to get the newer generations involved in all of the things we have come to love.

This creates a community, comradeship, and a personal network for your child to thrive and excel in whatever they may go out in the world and try to achieve. Our youth cannot achieve this without help from those who came before them, leading and teaching them the skills and knowledge necessary for them to be successful in their ventures. It is our duty to pass down the knowledge of our elders and keep it relevant today.

Odin’s Guild is just that, a Guild. A guild is defined as “an association of people for mutual aid or the pursuit of a common goal.” That common goal within Odin’s Guild is to teach our youth viable and lifelong skills, passions, and knowledge that will enrich their lives.

Our hopes are to create a community where we all support each other on our endeavors. We want to provide a place where the community gathers and shares. Wether that be from teaching something you are very knowledgeable about, or simply being present and just talking with everyone about life. Everyone has a story and eventually you will share it. Let’s use our life experiences and knowledge to teach the youth things they are not actively learning.

One of Odin’s Guilds primary missions is to setup and maintain a community garden, a place of operations locally, that we can reach the public. Within this community garden, we hope to establish profound friendships and networks to help us thrive. This garden will provide the space for workshops and classes on things such as:

Sustainable homesteading
Recycling materials
Crafting
Forging and smithing
Mycology
Family and consumer science
Foraging
Aquaponics
Aquaculture
Beekeeping

These are just some of the things that we hope to be able to provide. Another key component of Odin’s Guild is the cadet corps training program. I am an Army aviation veteran. I currently volunteer for a private JROTC program. The program under Odin’s Guild will instill discipline, professionalism, integrity, camaraderie, and selflessness within your child. They will also have access to ALL of the above aforementioned classes and workshops, we are after all here for them. If your child is interested in joining our armed forces, we will prepare them for that eventuality with team building excercises, strength and mental training, as well as what to expect when enlisting into this great country’s services.

All of this is new and bound to evolve as it grows, but we cannot achieve this without your support. As we are heavily invested into our community, we ask the community to help us with the same. Like and share our posts. Come out to our events. And above all, come together as a community and let’s network and share knowledge with one another. Let’s teach the youth about things that would bewilder them.
