ANNOUNCEMENT!!! ATTENTION FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!!

An opportunity for 3rd-6th grade football players to participate in this upcoming fall season. Following our decision to discontinue the season, the coaches of the Red River Elite have extended an invitation for interested players to join their team.

Registration and Parents Meeting tonight Monday, July 21st 6-8 PM @ the HFV Wilson Community Center, 625 E Main St, Ardmore, OK 73401

Important details:
-Games will be played in Moore, OK (schedule to be announced)
-Practices will be held in Ardmore, OK
-Registration fee: $150.00, inclusive of uniforms and sweat suits
-Parents are responsible for providing pads; the Marietta P*e Wee Association will offer assistance if necessary for all Marietta students.
-3rd and 4th-grade players will compete together
-5th and 6th-grade players will compete together
- The league will require a copy of each player's birth certificate and physical.

ATTENTION IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Due to the low number of players and volunteers signed up we have made the difficult decision to fold this season. There will NOT be a Marietta P*e Wee program this fall.

To be transparent we only had 3 players signed up for 5th and 6th grade football combined. 4th grade was close to a full team with 10 players however with half those players coming from 3rd grade and the rest of the league comprising of teams of all 4th graders it is now a question of safety. Even if you have a 3rd grader that can handle it, it is too big a risk to ask.

This decision did not come lightly, many conversations were had and alot of prayers went into it. Ideally we would have waited till after school had started to make this decision. However being apart of a conference with 10 other schools involved, scheduling and planning would have been compromised and put others in a bind. With the numbers being so low after two weeks of sign ups we all agreed it was the best decision for the conference as a whole to do it sooner rather than later.

To avoid confusion the Marietta P*e Wee program is not dying or going away permanently. The program directors, coaches and players will be different year to year however the spirit of this program will always be the same. We may be down now but we will rise up from this stronger and more resilient than ever. We are going to regroup soon and plan for the future. If you are upset by this news. Good! We need your help. Reach out and volunteer for next season so our boys and girls have a next season.

📣 Sign Up for Marietta P*e Wee Football & Cheer! 🏈📣

We will be extending registration due to the extremely low numbers of athletes and volunteers. We'll extend registration till the 21st and payments can be made up till Aug.1st.
Hopefully this will make it easier on families to afford the fee and encourage everyone to get registered. Anyone who registers later than the 21st or hasn't paid fees by August 1st will have to pay late registration which is $175. We are nothing but flexible if anyone needs assistance.
Please spread the word and encourage parents to get their kids signed up. All teams are close to NOT having a football team for this fall season.

🏈 CALLING ALL MARIETTA FAMILIES & COMMUNITY MEMBERS! 🖤💛

Youth sports play a huge role in building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and lifelong memories for our kids — but they don’t happen without YOU.

Our Marietta P*e Wee Program depends on volunteers to stay up and running. From coaching and helping at practice, to working concessions, running the gate, or holding the chains on game day — every role matters and every helping hand counts.

🙌 We can’t do it without our village.
In order for the season to be successful, we need parents and community members to step up and serve — even if it’s just for one game or one shift.

💥 Don’t just be a fan from the stands — be a part of the team behind the scenes that keeps the program going for generations to come.
