🚨 STOP SCROLLING! IT’S TIME FOR ANOTHER PET PHOTO TAKEOVER! 🚨

Last week’s Whiskers Wednesday was so much fun, we’re bringing it back for ROUND 2! 🎉🐾

🐾🩺 TUESDAY: LET’S TALK ABOUT IT! 🩺🐾

Every Tuesday, we’re diving into important topics that every pet owner should know! Some may surprise you, some may spark a little debate, but our goal is always the same — EDUCATION! ❤️

🐱 TODAY’S TOPIC: WHY TWO KITTENS ARE OFTEN BETTER THAN ONE! 🐱

We hear it all the time…

“I only want ONE kitten!”

But did you know that adopting two kittens together can actually make life EASIER for both you and your new furry family members? 😲

🐾 HERE’S WHY!

❤️ 1. They teach each other boundaries!

Kittens learn important social skills through play. When one bites too hard or plays too rough, the other kitten helps teach them what’s acceptable.

🐾 2. They burn off each other’s energy!

Ever had a kitten attack your feet at 3 AM? 😂 Having a kitten buddy gives them someone to wrestle, chase, and play with!

❤️ 3. They provide companionship!

Kittens are social little creatures! Having a compatible buddy can provide comfort, enrichment, and companionship, especially when their humans are busy.

🐾 4. They help keep each other entertained!

Two kittens can encourage each other to explore, play, and stay active instead of turning your curtains into their personal jungle gym! 😂

❤️ 5. They can form lifelong bonds!

Watching two kittens grow up together, cuddle, groom each other, and become best friends is something truly special. 🥹

⚠️ BUT HERE’S SOMETHING IMPORTANT!

Not every cat needs a feline companion, and adopting two kittens isn’t the right fit for every household. Introductions, personalities, space, and financial responsibilities all matter!

At Little Whiskers Animal Rescue, we love seeing kittens go home with a buddy when it’s the right match. ❤️

🐾❤️ ANIMAL DEBATE MONDAY! ❤️🐾

It’s Monday, and we’re starting the week with a little friendly debate! 😂

🔥 TODAY’S DEBATE: DO YOU LET YOUR FURR BABIES SLEEP IN YOUR BED?! 🔥

🐾 TEAM A: ABSOLUTELY! My furr babies sleep wherever they want. It’s their house, I just pay the bills! 😂❤️

🚫 TEAM B: NOPE! I love my furr babies, but my bed is MY space!

🤣 TEAM C: I didn’t have a choice! They’ve completely taken over the bed, the pillows, and all the blankets!

Let’s be real… some of us are hanging off the edge of a king-size bed while a 10-pound cat or a 70-pound dog is stretched out like they pay the mortgage! 😂

🐾❤️ SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT: MEET THE RESCUE! ❤️🐾

Every Saturday, we’re introducing you to some of the amazing people behind Little Whiskers Animal Rescue! The ones who work behind the scenes, open their homes, give up their free time, and pour their hearts into saving animals. 🐱

🌟 THIS WEEK, MEET AMBER & DON! 🌟

Amber and Don have been part of the Little Whiskers family since 2022, serving as both a dedicated foster and one of our board members!

But what makes Amber extra special is the kitties she chooses to foster. ❤️

While kittens tend to get most of the attention, Amber has a soft spot for the ones who are often overlooked! 💜our adult and senior cats. 🐈

The older kitties, the ones who may take a little longer to find their forever homes, and the ones who just need someone willing to give them a chance.

Amber welcomes them into her home, gives them a safe place to land, and loves each and every one as if they were her own until their forever family comes along. 🥹❤️

And trust us, saying goodbye after loving them like family isn’t always easy!

❤️ BUT WAIT… WE CAN’T FORGET DON! ❤️

Amber’s husband, Don, is just as involved in fostering and caring for the kitties who come through their home!

Now, looking at Don, you might think this big Marine veteran would be one tough guy to win over. 😂 But apparently, nobody told the cats that!

Because somehow, EVERY cat seems to go straight to Don! 🐱❤️

There’s just something about this big Marine that the kitties absolutely love. Whether they’re shy, scared, or just looking for someone to cuddle with, Don seems to be their guy!

It’s pretty funny watching these tiny little cats completely melt the heart of a big, tough Marine veteran. 😂❤️

Together, Amber and Don make an incredible foster team, giving some of our most overlooked cats the love, patience, and stability they deserve.

You may have already met Amber at one of our Petco adoption events! Or maybe you’ve spotted her at the Ak-Chin markets with her awesome 3D printing business, Print Portal! 🖨️

Amber and Don are truly the kind of fosters that shelters and rescues everywhere wish they had more of. They don’t shy away from the harder-to-place animals. Instead, they see the potential, the personality, and all the love these cats still have to give.

❤️ Amber and Don, thank you for opening your home and your hearts to so many animals over the years. We appreciate everything you both do for Little Whiskers, and we’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of our rescue family!
