DSHS PTSO Mission Statement

Desert Sunrise High School PTSO is an all-volunteer parent, teacher, and student run, non-profit organization committed to enhancing and enriching the education of our students and fostering a sense of community within our school. We seek to keep parents connected and informed by facilitating a closer relationship between school and home and serving as the communicatio

n link between the two. The PTSO provides assistance to teachers within the classroom settings, raises funds for education materials and experience, advocate school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our students. We believe in cultivating a positive learning environment for all students to achieve their highest potential. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent, teacher, and student organization offers the best possible learning environment for our students.

This prestigious designation signifies that our dedicated members and chapter have not only met the minimum national quality standards but have also gone above and beyond. They successfully implemented and documented a purposeful, high-impact activity in each of the fifteen required quality standards, demonstrating their commitment to:

FCCLA will be selling brightly colored mismatched socks at all lunches this week so can all ROCK OUR SOCKS on March 27th! Socks are $3 a pair and 100% of the proceeds go to AZ Down Syndrome Network.

Desert Sunrise High School Football Program Spring Speed/Skills Camp 2026
Good Day Maricopa!! DSHS Football Program is hosting a spring camp this year from March 09th to April 24th. Camp time is from 6pm-8pm. Please show up earlier for registration.
All are welcomed to register any day from 4:45pm-5:45pm. Perfect time to improve during spring break and get to know your DSHS Coaches.
The camp is for 6th-12th grade. For grades 9th-12th, only DSHS student-athletes will be allowed to show up for camp.
All youth organizations are welcomed and all 6th-8th grade student-athletes are welcomed.
Registration payment is only $5 for the whole camp 03/09-04/24! Waivers will need to be filled out and signed by parents/guardians before leaving student-athletes at the camp. Coaches will be on-site to help with any registration.
Any questions or concerns please feel free to ask and I will answer as best as possible.
