It really means the world to us when people from our community take a special interest in our organization and the special individuals whom we service … today was certainly no exception. Emerald Coast Hospice (Marianna) came to visit our clients and presented us with a check that will help with greenhouse repairs and classroom materials. We are so appreciative and humbled by their generosity. Thank you Emerald Coast Hospice for supporting Jackson County Arc and the very special individuals we serve!

Direct Care Staff needed.
JCARC is hiring caring, honest, hard working staff to work at our all male group home assisting individuals with developmental disabilities. DUTIES include cooking, cleaning, laundry and assisting the residents with daily living skills. Assist residents with bathing, personal care and dressing. Medication administration and keeping accurate daily documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
>Must be age 18 or older
>High school diploma or equivalent required
>Pass a local Criminal Records check
>Pass Level 2 Background Screening (FBI &FDLE)
>Pre-employment Drug Screening
>Drivers License with good driving record.
>Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental or working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare facility. College hours can substitute for experience.

Training will be provided.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule. We provide 24/7 alert care/
