Fellowship Recovery Community Organization (RCO) envisions a world where the power, hope, and healing of recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions is thoroughly understood and embraced. We work to end discrimination and remove barriers to recovery through advocacy, education and service. Our goal is to help those in recovery maintain and sustain their recovery regardless of the pathway while

ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect. Your support will help us fulfill our mission to serve Broward residents and their families in recovery from addiction. Fellowship Foundation provides a variety of support services designed to promote community health and wellness through awareness, prevention, and education. Addiction has been identified by US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy as the leading health care crisis facing our nation. Recovery Community Organizations such as Fellowship RCO are recognized by both the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as playing a vital role in promoting community wellness. All residents of Broward County will benefit from this mission. We invite you to support Fellowship Recovery Community Organization's Recovery Community Center Campaign. As Broward County’s first and only RCO, registered with the Association of Recovery Community Organizations (ARCO), Fellowship operates a physical space for connecting all persons in recovery to services and support helpful to their particular circumstance or need. Rick was recognized by the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale as part of Rotarians Honoring Rotarians, celebrating individuals who make a lasting difference through service and commitment to their communities.

We are incredibly proud to see Rick representing Fellowship Recovery Community Organization alongside this year’s honorees, including Hon. We are grateful for the partnership between Fellowship Recovery Community Organization and PNC Bank and the difference it is making for the people we serve. 💜

One of the highlights of this partnership is that 42 individuals opened bank accounts, taking a positive step toward financial independence and stability.

We appreciate PNC Bank for coming into our community, connecting with our participants, and helping provide resources that can make a real difference in their lives.

We are excited to build on this partnership by expanding financial literacy seminars for our participants, families, and community. We will be covering real life topics like budgeting, credit, debt, banking, saving, investing, homeownership, and more.

Recovery is about rebuilding your life, and learning how to manage your finances is a big part of that.

It was a great opportunity to connect with leaders who share our passion for strengthening recovery across Florida. 💜

Floridians for Recovery and Fellowship Recovery Community Organization had the privilege of meeting with Amanda Van Laningham and Heather Allman from the Florida Department of Children and Families to talk about how we can continue working together, building stronger partnerships, and finding new ways to support individuals and families in recovery.

Real change happens when organizations come together, share ideas, and work toward the same goal. We are grateful for DCF’s partnership and continued commitment to Florida’s recovery community.

Some gifts just seem to find the right person. 👟💜
When the shoes from Slick’s Kicks Charitable Foundation began making their way into the hands of our participants, something pretty special happened. Pair after pair seemed to match the person receiving them, from style and color to the shoes they felt most comfortable wearing.
In fact, one of the most common reactions was, “This is exactly what I would have picked for myself.”
That made these gifts feel even more personal. These weren’t simply new shoes. They were a reminder that someone took the time to think about who they were, what they liked, and what might make them feel good stepping into their next chapter.
Seeing the smiles, the excitement, and the genuine surprise in these photos reminds us why community matters so much. Recovery is about building a new life, and sometimes the little things can make a big difference in how someone feels as they move forward.
We are incredibly grateful to Slick’s Kicks for giving Fellowship RCO the opportunity to deliver more than sneakers. You helped us deliver moments of joy, confidence, and connection while reminding our participants that they have an entire community cheering them on.

Fellowship Recovery Community Organization was proud to be part of this amazing event, connecting with our community, sharing resources, and celebrating the partnerships that help make Margate a safer, stronger place for everyone.

💜 A single act of kindness can help someone believe in themselves again.

Today, Fellowship Recovery Community Organization is honored to welcome Slick’s Kicks Charitable Foundation as one of our newest community partners.

What arrived at our center were not just 25 beautifully gift wrapped pairs of brand new sneakers. They were 25 reminders that every person deserves dignity, encouragement, and the opportunity to keep moving forward.

It was a true privilege to meet the Hoppe family and learn about Victoria’s legacy. What began as one family’s love for a remarkable young woman has become a mission that continues to inspire hope in communities across South Florida. Her compassion lives on through every pair of sneakers gifted and every life touched.

At Fellowship RCO, we believe recovery is strengthened through connection, compassion, and community. This partnership reflects those values in such a meaningful way, and we are incredibly grateful that Slick’s Kicks chose to invest in the individuals we serve.

We are incredibly honored to have been awarded Best Overall in the 2026 City of Margate 4th of July Parade! This recognition belongs to every person who walked, rode, volunteered, and cheered us on throughout the day.

At Fellowship Recovery Community Organization, we believe recovery is about so much more than sobriety, it's about building a community where people find hope, purpose, friendship, and a true sense of belonging. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate freedom and recovery was nothing short of inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Margate, our amazing volunteers, supporters, friends, and everyone who represented Fellowship with pride. Your passion, energy, and commitment made this day one we'll never forget.
