In the late 80s a liquor store in the Midwest opened up a check cashing business inside the store. Customers had their photos taken to show they were members in good standing of the check cashing club. An exhibition of this collection of found photos is on display in our gallery and we'll be sharing them here for those that can't see them in person.

Did you know that NPR named David one of the best living songwriters alongside Paul McCartney, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan? They totally did and we totally agree.

“But your heart is like the Rothko chapel, cold dark void yet simple and intriguing
Somewhat comforting, got me believing almost anything
There was this line by Charlie Parker, probably worth remembering:
"If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn, chances are you'll never be reborn."

That video is here: https://youtu.be/SMLlp_7yNNc

We're also very pleased to announce that Marfa"s own Sam Watts will be performing an opening set!

We'll have a free open bar until the drinks run out. Feel free to bring your own too. There is a ten dollar suggested donation with 100% of that going to the band.
