Sul Ross Small Business Development Center’s mission is to foster small business success in the Big Bend Region by “Helping Small Businesses Start and Grow.” We accomplish this goal by assisting established firms, growth companies, and start-up enterprises meet the challenges in today’s evolving global marketplace. Our primary focus is on delivering business advising and management training to small businesses in our 8 counties in The Big Bend Region.
WSB Digital Transformations aims to help 100 businesses to better respond to the impact of COVID-19 by providing an improved customer experience through the incorporation of digital transformation strategies. The service is free and includes platforms such as cloud-based workflow, e-commerce, CRM, website development and digital marketing.
Communities Unlimited Entrepreneurship Group works alongside entrepreneurs at every stage of a small business’ development – from a simple idea to business expansion and everything in between. One-on-one solving problems, building capacity, and implementing the systems small business owners need to succeed, increase profitability and provide jobs in their communities. Every business has unique needs and so we find it crucial to customize our approaches, especially when facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Communities Unlimited Lending Team makes loans to underserved communities, specifically encouraging minority and women business owners, to drive economic development and long-term growth. Our loans fund traditional business needs such as working capital, equipment purchases, expansion, acquisition. We most recently launched our COVID-19 Reboot loan program to help businesses sustain during periods of decreased sales due to the pandemic.
