Summer is here! Get your kids involved in gardening! Fresh air and they get to play in the dirt! Enjoy beautiful flowering plants in a container or in the ground, or grow their own favorite vegetable. We, also, have books on square foot gardening, straw bale gardening and garden crafts.

We have a set of eight books donated to the library - Lady Violet Investigates by Grace Burrows. Lady Violet emerges from two years of mourning to resume her place in Polite Society. These are a perfectly charming series on high society capers, including a murder, missing bride, stolen jewelry, missing groom, failed marriages and kidnapping of little girls. Great light summer reading for all ages!

This Saturday, Friends of the Library craft and bake sale! Lots of wonderful bakes and hand crafted items just in time for Christmas! The library will have a table of used, but in good shape, puzzles from 48 pieces (a floor puzzle) to 1,000 pieces, plus a few games. Anyone still play trivia? I have a junior edition and an adult edition. One of our patrons donated some lovely cell phone purses on a long strap. Perfect for your phone, money, or credit cards. That leaves your hands free for grabbing those bargains! Stop in and check us out!
