VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Many of you know I am the assistant coordinator of the
Donor Family Network Team Finger Lakes Dress Giveaway. What this is, for those of you that don't know is a fundraising event we have done for the past 3 years in Watertown and Syracuse area. We give away brand new gowns, wedding, prom, mother of the bride/groom, cocktail, bridesmaid, flower girl, among many more. You can make a donation of your choosing to our non-profit.
This year we have a very large space at
Fingerlakes Mall in Auburn from 3/8/26-3/16/26 and 8 Public Square in Watertown from 3/18/26-3/18/26-3/30/26. Since we have space that we have access to for a period of time we have the ability to set up without rushing as we have had to in the past. We need a lot of help. We need help on the 8th unloading a storage facility and putting the inventory in the store at
Fingerlakes Mall at the Conference Center next to Bass Pro Shop.
We will need help from the 9th-12th any hours between 9:30am-8pm setting up dress racks, hanging and organizing dresses, setting up tables with many of the wedding items on them, shoes, decorations, bridal vales, wedding signs, reception and shower decor among other things. On Friday and Saturday, the 13th 12-4pm and 14th 9am-4pm we will be open for visitors to shop. Saturday evening and all-day Sunday we will be packing everything back up to go to Watertown for the event there and looking for help in Watertown as well.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and can fill out forms for individuals that need to acquire volunteer hours such as confirmation, school, scouts, among others. We have welcomed people of all abilities to help us with these events as well. If you know of any of these groups that need these hours, please PM and I can set it up for you.
