Marblehead Fireworks & Harbor Illumination The Marblehead Fireworks & Harbor Illumination happens every year on July Fourth in the Town of Marb The Harbor Illumination will begin at 8:45 p.m.

We hope that by visiting and liking this page you will help us spread the word an encourage your friends to visit Marblehead on the Fourth. We'd also appreciate it greatly, if you could send us your donation to insure that we can continue this fine Marblehead Tradition. The Fireworks Committee is an all-volunteer g

roup and the fireworks are 100% privately funded. The Fireworks are scheduled for July 4th, approximately 9:00 p.m. and immediately following we will LIGHT THE FUSE ON THIS YEAR’S EDITION OF FIREWORKS FOREVER! Rain date is July 5th.

Please be aware that a Safety Zone around the barge will be implemented and patrolled tomorrow, July Fourth — stay clear of the barge and safety perimeter that is marked with orange buoys.
Please comply with any instructions from one of our SAFETY PATROL VESSELS that are marked with orange Privileged Vessel flags. They are volunteers and are only trying to protect you and comply with the Coast Guard Requirements.

Only TWO WEEKS until Marblehead’s most festive evening! We all gather to celebrate our nation’s greatness! The civilian fireworks barge patrol is part of that tradition. Two to three volunteer boats patrol a marked-off area around the barge on July 4th and keep boat traffic outside the perimeter.

Want to volunteer and join the patrol in your boat for a two-hour shift? It’s fun and a wonderful team effort.
