Founded in 1950, Merry Mixers is a non-profit organization committed to supporting and raising funds to enhance the level of care for children at MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) in Salem, MA. Over $1 million dollars has been raised and donated since inception, with $88,000 donated in 2015 alone during the organization’s 65th anniversary year. The Special Care Nursery
at MassGeneral for Children at NSMC was recently expanded and updated to a Level II B facility for newborns with help from a $200,000 gift from Merry Mixers. Beginning in 2014, the organization committed to raise funds for the hospital’s Family Resource Center, which provides a wide range of behavioral health resources and services for children, adolescents, families and professionals on the north shore.
