The Fun Run is Tomorrow!

And the weather looks perfect. Don’t forget to register your kiddo. If their whole class registers, they’ll get 10 minutes of extra recess! Trust me, this is a big deal to the kids.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it’s part of how our school can fund the fun, community building, educational events we do all year!

And there’s still some spots left to come volunteer! This is a fun and easy way to get involved and a chance to see your kids running and having fun with their classmates!

Fun Run is in less than 1 week!!!!

This is our biggest fundraiser and one of the kids’ favorite events of the year!

What you need to do:

✅ Register your kid for the run! (No donation required & they get extra recess if their whole class signs up!)
✅ If they would like to fund raise, set a goal and start calling those grandparents!
✅ Volunteer! This is a really fun, low effort way to get involved and see your kiddos in action!

The Fun Run funds:

🥕 Outdoor garden lessons and garden supplies;
⚽️ Playground balls and equipment;
🎉 Events like Monster Mash, S.T.E.A.M. Fair &Book Fair
📚 Visits with local children’s authors;
👩🏻‍🏫 Teacher appreciation efforts; and
🎶 Programs like hands-on science & music workshops!

The Grand Finale!

Our last teacher appreciation week treat was a team lunch: each grade of teachers got to enjoy a catered Shubies lunch together while support staff, PTO and volunteer parents monitored the kids’ lunch and recess!

We can’t say it enough: Brown School has the BEST teachers and we are so happy to honor them this week!

Our teacher appreciation committee started the week off with a bang! Monday breakfast treats from Maria’s Gourmet and Dunks & yesterday’s Cinco de Mayo “Nacho Average Teacher” buffet from Spitfire Tacos!

We have a whole week of spoiling prepared for our amazing teachers, and we need your help on Friday! We are treating teachers with an all-grade lunch so they can socialize with their team, and we need CORI-checked parents to volunteer in the classrooms!
